Salt Lake Republican candidates received an unwelcome surprise Monday morning when they discovered that hundreds of their campaign signs, worth thousand of dollars, had been stolen overnight and replaced with signs reading "Stop Republican Extremism Vote by Nov. 8.
Apparently a large group of extremists, in a coordinated effort, took down signs across the valley. Stealing political signs is a Class A misdemeanor, but only if they are caught and prosecuted. We're not holding our breath.
It's ironic that the signs call the republicans "Extremists", while they pulled this extreme stunt. It makes you wonder which political party did this?
